The following is a list of frequently asked questions about our Online computer repair services. It should cover any questions you may have, but please contact us if you have any other questions not covered here.

1. What are the requirements for you to fix my PC online?

You simply need an internet connection and the ability to power up the computer.

2. Will your remote support connection work if I have wireless router?

Yes, our software does not depend on your network configuration.  We only require a connection to the Internet. So, as long as you can get to the Internet, we will be able to connect to your machine and fix your problem.  In the case of a virus that is blocking your Internet, just give us a call. We can still help you by guiding you to connect to the internet in safe mode with networking, which will allow us to connect to your computer, and remove the virus.

3. Is remote PC repair safe?

Remote online support is safe and secure. You are always in full control of your computer during the remote support session. Therefore, you can override the technician’s access by controlling your pc using your own mouse and keyboard. You can end the screen-sharing session at any time by clicking the end session button on the lower right side of your monitor

4. How long will the session last to fix my computer online?

This answer varies depending on your problem. Typical Pc Tune Up and improving performance is anywhere from 40 minutes to 80 minutes depending on your connection speed.  Removing a virus online can be more time consuming and takes anywhere from 60 minutes to 2 hours on average. In comparison to taking your PC to local repair shop which can take over 7 days to get your computer back, online PC repair is significantly faster. Don’t worry, we charge a flat rate, and you do not have to pay any additional fee no matter how long it takes us to fix your computer.

5. Do I have to sit there the entire time while you fix my computer?

No, we only need you to get us started by accepting our request to connect to your computer. This usually takes about five minutes. Once we start the remote session, you can walk away or watch us work on your computer as if we were in front of it. We do not black out your screen, so you can see everything we are doing at all times. In addition, our software has a log of our technician’s actions so you can review what was done if you do step away for a few minutes.

6. Can you or anyone be able to view my computer again after the remote session ends?

No. After our online PC repair session is complete, we disconnect from your PC with nothing left behind, so we cannot get back into your computer at a later time. The whole process is repeated each time you call us for remote computer repair.

7. Will I see any charges on my phone bill?

No, our toll free number is completely free to call from the United States and Canada. In addition you can chat with us and we can connect to your PC and fix it without you ever calling our toll free number at all.

8. How do I make sure my payment information is safe with you?

We do not collect or store your payment information on our system. We accept payment with credit card through Paypal. Paypal is secure, and we never know or see your credit card information. You can also pay with Interact email transfer if you are in Canada.

9. Where are you located?

We have been providing onsite and remote computer services for homes and businesses in Canada for over 8 years.
